datumly is a Fantasy Premier League projection tool. It needs very little about you, and this page says exactly what it takes, why, and how to get rid of it.
Who we are
datumly is operated from the United Kingdom. For UK GDPR purposes we are the data controller for the information described below. You can reach us at hello@datumly.co.uk.
What we collect
Your FPL manager ID
When you enter your FPL manager ID, we store it in your browser (localStorage, under datumly:fplId) so you do not have to type it again, and we send it to our own server, which passes it to the Fantasy Premier League API to look up that team’s squad, points and transfer history. That information is already public on the FPL website for any ID.
We do not need, and never ask for, your FPL password or email. We have no ability to change anything in your FPL account.
Your email, if you join the waitlist
If you submit the waitlist form we store your email address, the time you submitted it, and your browser’s user-agent string. We use it to email you about datumly and nothing else. We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to advertisers.
Your theme choice
If you switch to light mode we remember that in your browser (datumly-theme). It is a display preference and it never leaves your device.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to count page views and measure page speed. It is cookieless: it does not set a cookie, does not create a persistent identifier for you, and does not follow you to other sites. We see totals, not individuals.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
- We do not track you across other websites.
- We do not build advertising profiles.
- We do not ask for payment details, and we do not ask for your FPL login.
Where it is stored, and who else is involved
The site is hosted by Vercel, and waitlist entries are stored in Vercel KV. The projection service runs on Render, in their Frankfurt region. Manager IDs are sent to the Fantasy Premier League API so we can fetch the squad for that ID.
Our projections also draw on football data from third parties (bookmaker odds, fixture and injury feeds). We only ever read from those services. Nothing about you is sent to them.
How long we keep it
- Manager ID: in your browser until you clear it, and only held on our server for as long as it takes to answer a request.
- Waitlist email: until you ask us to remove it, or until the waitlist is retired.
- Theme choice: in your browser until you clear it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@datumly.co.uk and we will action it within one month.
You can clear everything we have put in your browser at any time through your browser’s settings for this site — that removes your saved manager ID and theme choice immediately.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Children
datumly is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change what we collect, we will change this page and update the date at the top.
